The cab service giant Uber just made your day. With the whole new feel and look, Uber has decided to revamp the hell out of its service app. With a sleuth of new features, intuitive commands, one-tap shares and many others, using the app has suddenly become a whole lot easy. The official revamp of App will happen in a dedicated manner all over the globe today. Presently, though the official newsletter shows immense promise. We decided to break down the whole deal with you here :
The Advanced ‘Where To’ Option :
- This feature of Uber basically learns from your habits. The frequent routes are automatically fed into the Uber app, and saved without you entering it.
- You’ll see a new headline – Shortcuts, which gives you one-tap destination from the saved history.
- The additional great things about this are, Shortcuts can be synced with your calendars as well. Now, you don’t need to book the cab for that meeting of yours at the last moment. Uber sends you an alert and provides cab details automatically.
People Are The New Places For Uber :
- The new Uber app allows you to make plans easily. Next time you want to go meet your pals, set the destination to -The Person. Basically, Uber tracks him and gets the destination.
- In order to do so, just sync your contacts and you are good to go.
- Once your friends have shared their location, you can let your cab go to them, rather than a particular place.
Decide How To Get There :
- The age old selections of rides are here. What stands changed, though, is that now you can see the pricing upfront, with a nearer approximation. And the time of arrival more precisely.
- The ride now integrates Yelp, Pandora, Foursquare and such, to give you all the info about the place you are visiting. Again, much like Google Now, but more destination based.
- Also, with Snapchat support ( which we don’t get ) you can even play with filters and friends along your way.
- Another nifty little change is that, with UberEats, you can order food on your way home. Your Pizza and You arrive home at the same time.
- One other feature of concern the app can also be connected to a Train transit means through an app called, Transit.
