Last night was a fantastically absurd day for Human history. Donald Trump was elected as the 45th President of United States Of America, creating a huge upset to all political critics and world leaderships as well. Not so much with the American public apparently. However, the biggest disappointment of all, was watching our Super Heroes react to this announcement.

YouTube user DrMachakil posted a mashup of scenes from various superhero movies, interspersed with news reports from election night and video of Trump’s victory speech. Figures including Spiderman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Thor and more gazed on with what seems like silent horror at the news.

When the “Imperial March” from Star Wars begins, you get the sense it’s only the beginning of a movie that somehow pits a very large superhero community against the new U.S. President. Check out the compilation above to see that unlikely scenario begin to unfold.
