They have been watched and shared all year, but now YouTube has revealed the most popular videos of 2016.
The top trending video was James Corden singing with Adele on Carpool Karaoke, followed by a song by Japanese comedian Pikotaro.
Work From Home by American girl group Fifth Harmony featuring Ty Dolla $ign was the most popular music video, with 1.18 billion videos.

Featuring many great names, from  Glozell, Grace Helbig, HolaSoyGerman, Lilly Singh and more.

Additionally, for the first time ever, viewers will be able to take a Rewind quiz with a glossary of creators and memes found in the video to see if you’re a YouTube expert. A super helpful interactive guide is also being released, which explores the data, trends and backstories behind the references found throughout – just in case you missed out on some big 2016 moment.
