It was perhaps a year back, that I first talked to Kartika Nair, a consciousness teacher under the brand SynchroShakti based out of Bengaluru. Back then, I had absolutely no idea, what a consciousness coach/teacher was. But, a few conversations later, I didn’t have to know what or who that was. I had felt it. Ms. Nair, had over our discussions about several things, ranging from Atomic structures to cosmic bridges, had shown me the very basic strands of life’s existence. And thereby, to me, Life, Living, and Existence became three entirely different pathways. Over the next few months, I learned so much about her, and her message to the world, through social media, YouTube, and other means. Kartika Nair, being a young and powerful woman, was speaking to humanity across the oceans and beyond any physical bounds. A singing hermit was the image I had for her, in my mind, whenever I saw her dealing with complex mind innuendos with an honest smile and a soothing tune. It was the seed for a huge product that was to come in time. Kartika had seen an eventuality of creating music which helped people in their pursuits for peace. Thus, came about Love Unites Us.
Kartika’s Love Unites Us, is a novel crowdfunded movement in producing a video which goes along the path of humanitarian awakening. The video garnered high interest in crowd-funding prospective website IndieGogo, with it’s honest promise. And of course, this meant it didn’t take much time for people to be piqued by the concept, and the funds started coming in. Before long, Love Unites Us became a vehicle of a change from the moment of concept to the final output.
Coming to the video itself, Kartika’s Love Unites Us, starts off with a man, who looks beaten by life down and out, and who is seen crossing a road, where he stumbles off a pavement, only to be saved by a divine embodiment of Kartika. What follows is a building of trust in greater things at play, and the simple ideology of Helping each other. Collective growth becomes the crux of the story, as the man wakes up and finds about an unexplainable change within him coming forth. Unexpectedly, owing to a simple gesture of helping an old lady, the man finds his problems dissolve into triviality. All leading to, him finding someone who finally helps him, making his life better. A subtle message weaved in symbolism, Kartika manages to drive her point home perfectly well.
On the other side of the video, Kartika with her clear and concise lyrics, collaboration features with world wide artists, exudes happiness and hope beyond race, culture, creed and color. Oneness of thoughts and future, universal temperance, and relentless optimism make this video an important watch after all.
