Rana – Redefining Storytelling For The Present Times

Right from the time the first Indian feature film, ‘Raja Harishchandra Prasad’ opened the doors to cinematic storytelling. Indian cinema has evolved manifolds. At times where we could barely see our movies stars except in movies to the times now where we can interact with them live, shows the remarkable achievements humans have accomplished through technology.

Speaking at the TEDx Hyderabad, Rana opens up redefining storytelling and the urge for us to be more innovative with technology and design. One particular point he mentioned actually sums up his whole speech. He says that we should embrace the change positively and it will throw open numerous opportunities to each and every one of us. Ever since his childhood, Rana has been surrounded by movies. His grandfather who was a farmer went on to be one of the most revered producers of Indian Cinema.

Ramanaidu Studios have done everything they could do in enhancing the process of storytelling. From building movie theatres, dubbing studios, processing labs to VFX studios, they have been successfully bringing stories to us. If we observe, over the last few years, technology has surpassed our imagination and this will only multiply in the years to come. For all the creative and technology heads out there, with technology at the tip of our fingers, it is time to expand the creative horizons.
